In our daily life, we often come across situations where one quantity changes with respect to another. For example, if you buy more pens, the total cost increases; if more workers are hired, the time taken to complete a task may reduce. These types of relationships between two quantities are called proportions. Class 8 Math Ch Direct and Inverse Proportion Ex13.1

In Direct Proportion, both quantities increase or decrease together at the same rate. In Inverse Proportion, when one quantity increases, the other decreases in such a way that their product remains constant.

In Exercise 13.1, we will focus on identifying and solving problems related to Direct Proportion using simple multiplication and division techniques.
